For households in Pennsylvania that got a property tax or rent rebate in 2021, financial relief is currently on the way.

Pennsylvania residents who filed a rebate will get a one-time bonus equal to 70% of the original rebate.

The incentives started being distributed the week of August by the state department of revenue.

Approximately $140 million from the American Rescue Plan will be used by the governor's office for the bonuses.
