Singer Bhupinder Singh, a legend, dies in Mumbai

Bhupinder Singh, a veteran playback singer who performed countless Bollywood songs in his deep bass voice,

passed away here on Monday night, according to his wife, singer Mitali Singh.

His greiving wife Mitali told IANS that he has been suffering with a number of health problems, including urinary problems, for some time.

More information, such as the 82-year-old singer's funeral plans, are awaited.

Singh is famous for his catchy songs in movies like "Mausam," "Satte Pe Satta," "Ahista Ahista," "Dooriyan," "Haqeeqat," and many others.

Some of his most well-known songs include "Hoke Majboor Mujhe, Usne Bulaya Hoga" (with Mohammed Rafi, Talat Mehmood, and Manna Dey),

"Dil Dhoondhta Hai," "Duki Pe Duki Ho Ya Satte Pe Satta," (including numerous vocalists), and many others.
