Now over $1 billion is in the Mega Millions jackpot.

After no one matched all six numbers on Tuesday night to claim the top prize, the enormous Mega Millions lottery jackpot increased to $1.02 billion.

The new anticipated jackpot will rank as the fourth-largest lottery prize in the country.

Since April 15, nobody has matched all six of the game's chosen numbers, which has resulted in the jackpot growing significantly. That's 29 drawings in a row without a significant winner.

For winners who select the annuity option, which is paid out annually over 30 years, the prize is worth $1.02 billion.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302.5 million.

Along with 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the US Virgin Islands, Mega Millions is also played there. State lotteries are in charge of organising the game.
