IND vs ENG 3rd T20 Highlights: England avoid whitewash, defeat India by 17 runs

In the third and final T20 International against England, India was defeated by 17 runs, but the team still won the series 2-1.

Suryakumar Yadav's century (117 off 55 balls) was in vain as India could only muster 198 for 9 in their pursuit of a lofty 216-run mark.

Reece Topley (3/22) was England's most effective bowler.

Richard Gleeson and Moeen Ali took one wicket, while David Willey and Chris Jordan each claimed two.

England chose to bat and scored 215 for 7.

including a 39-ball 77 from Dawid Malan, who led the scoring.

Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone both contributed, scoring 27 and 42 respectively.

India, which was attempting to chase down a total of 216, was in trouble at 31 for three 

before Yadav and Shreyas Iyer combined for 119 runs for the fourth wicket to keep the side in the game

Yadav's dismissal in the penultimate over put the game back in England's favour.
