Adam Silver, the NBA commissioner, is not satisfied with Kevin Durant

Silver talked about how Durant asked for a trade just days before the start of his four-year,

$198 million contract extension with the Brooklyn Nets at a news conference during the annual NBA Board of Governors meeting.

Silver, who is widely regarded as a commissioner who is extremely pro-player, stated that this sort of conduct is bad for the league.

In February, during NBA All-Star Weekend, Silver reiterated his displeasure with players' outspoken trade requests.

His remarks followed the Philadelphia 76ers' trade for James Harden from the Brooklyn Nets,

who had acquired him from the Houston Rockets in January 2021.
