Eligibility Criteria for Manchester University Scholarships 2023/24
  • Only the resident citizens of Malawi, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Zimbabwe are eligible to apply.
  • They have not studied earlier outside of Africa (training of 6 months or less does not count).
  • They need to possess minimum of two years of professional experience relevant to their chosen field of study (note that this does not include voluntary work or unpaid internships).
  • The candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree and have graduated before September 2021. The degree will be with an overall excellent grade.
  • Since the scholarships are exceptional students, and this means that the applicants should be in the top 10% of their class.
  • The candidates should be committed to returning to their countries and have to be able to show the potential to register a positive impact on the future of their country.
